Welcome to the Rhapsody Dobermans!

Rhapsody Dobermans believes in a Doberman that can do it all - look good and win in the show ring, work in a variety of performance arenas, and is a long lived, happy companion in our day to day life. We actively participate in conformation, obedience, Schutzhund, tracking, and agility with our dogs. After all how can we ask others to do what we don’t do ourselves?

My love affair with the Doberman breed started when I was 5 years old.   I have been training and showing Dobermans in conformation and obedience since 2000 and in Schutzhund and agility since 2001.
 

I am a member of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America (DPCA) and the United Doberman Club (UDC). Also, I am currently the DPCA Breeder Referral Chairperson, the President of the UDC Central Texas Doberman Club and the UDC Treasurer and a Board Member, and the Delegate of the Greater Austin Doberman Pinscher Club to AKC. I am a former President and Vice-President of the Greater Austin Doberman Pinscher Club.

To date, I have bred 4 AKC champions and 2 ROM's (Register of Merit) dobermans. Among performance titles, Rhapsody-bred dobermans have acquired 1 Tracking Dog (TD) title, 2 Companion Dog Excellent (CDX’s) titles, 5 Companion Dog (CD titles), 7 Rally Novice titles (RN), 5 Rally Advanced (RA) titles, 3 Rally Excellent (RE) titles, 6 WAC dogs, 2 BH’s, 3 multi High in Trial winners, and 1 winner of the United Doberman Club High Point All Around award.
