Welcome to the Rhapsody Dobermans!

I fell in love with the Doberman Pinscher when I was 5 years old, and my fascination and interest in the breed have grown exponentially in the last 37 years. I have been training and showing Dobermans in conformation and obedience since 2000 and in Schutzhund and agility since 2001.

Membership in various dog organizations has been a defining feature of my participation in dog activities. I am currently :

Irina and puppy* Member of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America (DPCA)
* Member of the United Doberman Club (UDC)
* Member of the Bluebonnet All Breed UKC Club
* Member of the Greater Austin Doberman Pinscher Club  (GADPC).
* DPCA Breeder Referral Chairperson
* Treasurer and Board Member of the United Doberman Club
* President of the UDC Central Texas Doberman Club
* Delegate of the Greater Austin Doberman Pinscher Club to AKC.
* Former President and Vice-President of the Greater Austin Doberman Pinscher Club.
* Instructor of Advanced Obedience Classes (Utility) at Austin Canine Central.

To date, I have bred 10 AKC champions, over 30 UKC champions, over 10 UDC champions and 4 DPCA ROM's (Register of Merit) Dobermans.

In November 2010, the American Kennel Club (AKC) listed me as an AKC Breeder of Merit. (http://www.akc.org/breederofmerit)

Among performance titles, Rhapsody-bred dobermans have acquired 2 Tracking Dog (TD) title, over 50 Utility Dog, Companion Dog Excellent, Companion Dog, Rally Novice, Rally Advanced and Rally Excellent, over 20 WAC dogs, 5 BH’s, 10 High in Trial winners, and 2 winners of the United Doberman Club High Point All Around award.
